Day 5, Homosassa springs, FL.

Today we were in Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park. There we saw we more fish than we've ever seen at the same time. The fish comes in from the ocean and stays for a few days in fresh water to get rid of parasites that can only live in salt water. They don´t feed at all while staying there and even fish that that usually eat each other just swims around ignoring each other. We saw lot of other animals, as Florida bears, wolves, snakes, alligators and lots of various birds that will hopefully end up on our blog, if we only can learn how it works.

Idag åker vi till Homosassa springs. Där får vi se fler fiskar än vi någonsin sett på samma gång. Fiskarna kommer in för att under några dagar vistas i sötvatten för att bli av med parasiter som endast kan leva i saltvatten. Andra djur vi får se är, björn, varg, ormar, alligators, olika fåglar och en massa andra djur som förhoppningsvis hamnar på vår blogg. Om nu vi bara kan lära oss hur den fungerar.
